Bullet and dont know exactly how or where to make the low water pick up.? Jack plates can also be used to adjust the setback, or how far back the motors are from the transom. But... Heat Convection happens when matter carries heat from one place to another. I was going to run the pickup to the intercooler then out an overboard dump. I installed my pickup for the intercooler through the hull. If the water cannot thermally transfer the heat from the electronics to itself and carry it away, it isn't very effective. In my case I picked up a few mph and the boat handling improved with the engines higher using hull mounted pick-ups.
