I just purchased some new fittings and a mishimoto oil cooler and am planning to run it between the two unused ports on the steering rack that originally goes to the oil cooler and the VSS (ports C and D listed above) hoping that solves my issues. Thinking about just using one of my high side outputs from my aem and a relay. I think they are something to do with turning the pump on after engine start up in the stock Toyota MRII configuration? I have found some info primarily in the EV world. Thats what you see in some of the pics, some of the parts that I have not painted black yet and they look yellow or brown. If the pump turns and there is adequate fluid, but there is no power assist, it will require much greater effort to turn the steering wheel, and that presents inherent safety risks. I am looking to do the same with my stock steering box and steering column, run a koyo (toyota) system. The pump was interesting because it was all self contained. With the depower, it takes 5.
