The really tall, super smart attorney knows she's not everyone's cup of sugar, but can't figure out what the grumpy alphahole's deal is. This is my absolute fave by Swati so far 😍 I though Wayland was hot in book 2, but WOW 🥰 Penn is my kinda guy!

She takes her struggles and molds them to bend under her control. Yes, they are so good! Fast paced with a twist that will make you mouth WHAAAAA?!?!? Sita can't figure out why her neighbor Penn doesn't seem the least bit interested in her & it's driving her a bit crazy. She has her own demons, they are with her every day trying to take her in the wrong direction, lead her mind into a frenzy but this girl is strong and she won't allow it. And i so did NOT see that surprise coming 😲 Literally read this book in less than 24 hours, i couldnt put it down 😍. I think this book was remarkably refreshing and relatable. Penn has had a hard time and his past is not one of happiness and joy. Sita is a serious bad a$$! But right when Mr. P. My hot ass neighbor issue 3. Cooke gives me a glimpse of the life I've always wanted, his past comes tearing in like a tornado, ready to cause devastation. She totally stalks her neighbour no matter how much she denies it, true if you had a hot AF stud next door wouldn't we all be looking out the peephole 🥴🤣.
Not even if he comes in the sexiest, most deliciously infuriating, six-foot-two package with a checkered bow tie. He set my pages on fire Hot. I cannot wait to see what's next for this author! My Favorite Coupling! I wanna be her when I grow up! This is the first book I've read by Swati M. but it definitely won't be my last! My hot ass neighbor issue 3.1. A misunderstanding one night, brings them together and sparks fly... while both live in denial of their attraction, their banter continues with the cat and mouse chase till they both give in to the temptation... Next thing we know there's a baby on the way but Sita doesn't want Penn to accept her just for the baby... What happens next is for you to read coz the story hereon only gets more exciting with mind blowing, passionate chemistry and a few unexpected surprises thrown in. Don't get me wrong I think the story was funny, entertaining and very romantic but it also deals with very hard topics (which Swati handle so well). With very very subtle clues penn is able to deduce that she's pregnant before she even tells him 🙄 about 70% into the story penn finds out his dead wife forged his signature to allow her sister to surrogate their child and after 6 years he finds out he has a daughter who he knew was his with one glance even though he never had sex with his sister in law?!
Swati outdoes herself with this one. When he tries to apologize, will she accept it and give him a chance? Distraught & tired from his weekend, he comes home late and crawls into bed, finding Sita is already there. One of my greatest pleasures as a reader is finding a new writer and watching her grow in her craft. My hot ass neighbor issue 3.0. She is strong she has fire and so confident. Swati wows me with every book. His brand of sexiness makes Sita's attitude light like a fuse. When she's not writing angsty romance stories with diverse characters, she's either reading, watching, or thinking about romance... preferably while holding a glass of wine.
I always though I wasn't a fan of praise, and possessiveness and dirty talk are to often so cheesy. Search For Something! I'm going to asphyxiate. When things get heated and I mean on a scale of 1-10 it is a 15, all their worries and secrets come out. The writing in the story is fantastic! Two people who matter so much to one another. She was just so strong and smart and funny, with her own set of anxieties, which made her even more lovable. Both help each other to face the ugly truth life has thrown them and to move on.
When you learn Sita and Penn's back story you'll get what I'm saying. This is now my favorite Swati book. It's heart warming and emotional, sweet at times but oh so steamy, and plenty of laugh out loud moments! I received this book as an ARC to read and review by the author. This book was great. Has he been hurt too much? Keep writing, keep soaring!!! Penn has been through alot in the past but when Sita enters his life he's forced to come to terms with what he really wants..
Texas raised Indian American romance author living in the Bay Area. Once again, Swati proves why she is on my list of top authors -a story which is cute, sweet, entertaining, emotional, happy, sad and different with some important issues highlighted and handled with care. A man who says he wants me and our little bean sprout, too. With this book, it looks like she's leaped out of her comfort zone to flex her writing muscles, and I love the results!
