West Boynton Recreation Center Teen Camp. This camp is taught by award winning, Robotics and technology expert, Mr. Tai Donovan. The city summer camps will operate from June 21 to August 6 and are open to both residents and non-residents. Mr. Donovan earned his teaching degree in Early and Secondary Science Education from the State University of New York at Cortland. The program is based on competition where campers will be placed in a small group and have their robots compete against one another throughout the summer. CITs will receive firsthand experience working with younger campers during the city's additional summer day camps. In the Robotics Camp, each co-ed group will explore Autodesk inventor, Digital Electronics and 3D Printing. For the past nine years, Mr. Donovan has taught Science and Robotics at American Heritage School where he is the Director of the Robotics Program helping to design the curriculum and manage the teaching staff.
