The twist and turns throughout the story was great and will literally not let you stop listening until the very end. Benton, the eldest of the King siblings, has to decide if he wants to cooperate with the feisty detective or conduct his own investigation. The tone of this book is darkly humorous. If she sometimes suspects there might be more to life than reading, she just shrugs and picks up a new book. The perfect book for what I needed. Did you like this book? As a romance channel screenwriter, it's her job. And freeing Patricia up to be with him. She's funny and honest in the way that I wish we all could be: She's not afraid to admit that yes, her life is a mess, and no, she really doesn't have it all together.
