Plot: submarine, giant monster, monster, sea, reporter, exploitation, diver, underwater city, biosphere, photographer, scientist, torpedo... Time: 60s. This is a fun and fast-paced horror movie sure to to leave any viewer happy. Story: Two hundred years after Lt. Ripley died, a group of scientists clone her, hoping to breed the ultimate weapon. Story: On a small island off the California coast it's the Fourth of July and tourists are washing up dead in Babylon Bay, once again! He's the guy who will make you uncomfortable, getting a little too cozy. At the carnival, the humanoids show up in droves, relentlessly murdering the men and raping every woman they can grab. They occasionally stop to rip off heads and innards, but the gore effects are so bad that the filmmakers shouldn't have bothered. Not to be outdone, the head of Canco attempts to one up them on the tedious scale by taunting the protesters by pissing in the ocean. Apparently only one of the suits looked convincing in close-ups but I'd suggest they don't look convincing in wide shots, or even super-wide shots. In their cinematic depictions mentioned here, both creatures are able to maneuver through shallow waters with consummate prowess and discretion, snatching a victim and mangling him gruesomely without breaking the surface.
