Author Daryl began writing this series in the year 2013. I must admit that I read this book without reading the first one. She is naturally curious but not obnoxiously nosy, and she is mature in thought and actions (she is twenty-nine years old). At least her new creation--sinfully delicious Brie blueberry ice cream--has turned out perfectly. Wedding plans go awry with the death of a treasured relative. The setting is the best piece of this series. I don't think I know of a grilled cheese competition but it sounds delightful (as do the recipes in the book).
