School districts saw student enrollment drop dramatically during the COVID-19 pandemic to private-, charter-, home- or non-school options. To recapture lost students, districts could develop and implement a robust communication and marketing plan that highlights the resources and accomplishment of our district. She is currently a precinct delegate. Sidhu has lived in Canton Township for over 20 years, and she has a child currently attending P-CCS schools. What is an issue facing the district that isn't on residents' radar that should be? Candidates were sent the questions ahead of time to allow time to prepare their responses. We need to acknowledge and respect all students for who they are while providing them with the best educational experience that will prepare them for the next phase of their lives. We should also invest in after school learning programs to help students get back on track with their learning plans. We need to hire more teachers so we can shrink the classroom size and offer a higher quality education experience to our students and families. Voters in the district will elect three of them in the Nov. 8 election. In addition, student academic achievement and proficiency is not growing.
